Southeast Georgia Health System is a not-for-profit health care system with multiple locations and services. The Health System has served residents and visitors to the beautiful Golden Isles and surrounding areas of Southeast Georgia since 1888.

Southeast Georgia Health System – Camden Campus 


With approximately 9,500 hundred students, the Camden County School District has two early childhood programs, nine elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. The recently released Georgia Department of Education 2016-2017 list of Title I Reward Schools named seven Camden County Schools as either “Title I Highest Performing Schools” or “High Progress Title I Schools.” The Camden County School District earned more awards for “Title I Highest Performing Schools” than any other district in the state of Georgia.

Little residents of Osprey Cove are currently slated to attend:

– St Marys Middle School
– Camden County High School

During the 2017 US Congressional Session, Camden County Schools received recognition as an outstanding school system. On March 10, 2017, before the 115th Congress of the United States, Representative Earl “Buddy” Carter recognized Camden County Schools for being ranked 7th in the state of Georgia by Niche. Representative Carter’s recognition of our school system will be a permanent part of the Congressional Record of the 115th Congress which is housed in the Library of Congress.

Nearby private school are also an option for families living in Osprey Cove.

New Hope Christian Academy

New Hope Christian Academy has served the St. Marys/Kings Bay, Georgia area for over 35 years. Their purpose is to provide an excellent, traditional education with a Christian emphasis by showing students from kindergarten through the 12th grade how biblical truths can be applied to all facets of their education and life.

King of Peace Episcopal Day School

KOPEDS began in 2000 and is a happy, safe, and loving Christian environment for children from age 18 months through five years. Meeting the need in our area for full-day, full year preschool where education, including Christian education, is the central focus.
